Here is the step by step process on how to get form 16 online:
Go to the TRACES website and login using your User ID, password, TAN of the deductor and verification code.
Now check the status of your return 24Q4 for the financial year.
Now go to the ‘download’ tab and click on ‘Form 16’ option
Select the financial year
Now select ‘Search PAN download’ or ‘Bult PAN downloads”
Click on ‘Go’
DEtails of the authorized person will appear on your screen, click on submit and fill your KYC Details
After doing KYC, you will get a unique ‘reset number’
You can track status of your form 16 request using this number and download form 16 as soon as it turns to ‘Available’
You can select the format in which you want to download the form.
