The process to get an occupancy certificate is quite simple. Here are the steps you need to follow-
Visit the Chief Executive Officer of the housing development board with the application form
Submit the duly filled form with the documents as required
Submit the fee that is supposed to be paid
Once you do this, your application will be processed internally. Here is what will happen next-
A verifying officer will refer to the concerned public agencies and get the NoC
Once they get it, they will send a person to the place where the building is located to check whether the property abides by the approved plan or not
If everything goes well, a NOC will be generated by the Nodal officer
The occupancy certificate will be released next
