You can easily get rid of flies by using vinegar. Here is what you need to do:

• Take a shallow dish or bowl and pour a small amount of white vinegar into it. The scent of the vinegar will attract the flies.

• Add a few drops of dish soap to the vinegar. This breaks the surface tension of the liquid, causing flies to sink and drown when they land in the mixture.

• Cover the dish with plastic wrap and secure it with a rubber band. Poke small holes in the plastic to allow flies to enter but make it difficult for them to escape.

• Put the vinegar trap in areas where flies are most active, such as near garbage cans, kitchen counters, or near windows and doors.

• Check the trap regularly, and when it accumulates flies, dispose of them. Replace the mixture as needed to maintain its effectiveness.

Some other ways to get rid of flies are:

• Create fly traps using a mixture of apple cider vinegar, sugar, and dish soap in a jar. Flies are attracted, get trapped, and drown.

• Use essential oils like eucalyptus, lavender, or mint to deter flies. Mix a few drops with water and spray in fly-prone areas.

• Hang flypaper strips in problem areas; flies get stuck to the adhesive surface and can be discarded.

• Regularly clean and sanitise your kitchen, garbage cans, and pet areas to remove fly breeding grounds.

• Ensure doors and windows have tight-fitting screens to prevent flies from entering, minimising the need for removal.

These are some methods on how to get rid of house flies naturally. I implemented the remedy using vinegar, and since it was effective and easy, I would recommend you go for it.

Make small holes on the plastic with a pin. The flies will fall into the bowl and they will be trapped. You can also use apple cider vinegar if you can't avail white vinegar.

Milk and sugar are the two ingredients easily available in our home. To get rid of flies, heat up the milk with some pepper and a spoonful of sugar. Take a glass and pour the mixture.  Place it on the counter to trap the flies.
