• Give the borax paste at least 24 hours to sit.

• With a moist cloth, clean the furniture.

Termites in furniture or in general are my enemies. They almost freaking ruined my favourite couch which I got made specifically for my living room. I really did put my heart and soul into doing my living room decor. Oh how perfect it was until termites decided to show up. The horror I tell you.

• I shifted my couch to the balcony for a couple of days just so that it can have a sunbath. I got to know that exposing furniture to sunlight will help in getting rid of termites as they can’t withstand heat and die.

• I bought borax powder and dissolved it in water. Then I gently sprayed it all over the wood of my couch and wiped it dry. I did this for 3-4 days.

• Someone told me that neem oil can eliminate termites easily so I rubbed it over the wood of the couch.

• Once all of these treatments were done, I decided to indulge in deep cleaning of my house to ensure everything was spotlessly clean and no further damage happened.
