I recently checked my RTC number Karnataka through Bhoomi Portal and I must say the process is very simple. The RTC (Record of Rights, Tenancy and Crops) is an essential land record in Karnataka which include details of the owner as well as details of the land like:
Information about the landowner
Area of the Land
Crops grown on the land
Identification of soil type
Type of land
Liabilities
Water Rate
Nature of possession
Tenancy
I don’t think you can find the sale deed number in the RTC but I suggest you still check once for confirmation.

All you have to do is enter details like the name of Village, Taluk, Hobli, District, Survey Number, Surnoc, Hissa Number, etc. to get the required info.
