How to gloss paint a door with roller?

Before you start to paint, there are a few supplies that you need to keep handy. They are,

• Brushes and rollers for painting

• Sanding block (wooden or rubber)

• Sandpaper

• Tape for masking

• Knife with a good edge

• Sheets for dusting

• Primer

• Undercoat\Gloss

How to paint a door with gloss paint?

• Choose your gloss:

  The sheen or shine of the various forms of gloss will differ. The gloss is more durable the higher the shine. If you're painting the front door of your home, high-gloss paint is a good choice.

• Prepare the surface and your surroundings:

  After you've chosen your shine, lay out your dust sheets on the floor to protect it and any close furniture.

• Apply gloss to the edges and panels of the door:

  It's time to start applying your gloss after you've prepped and primed your door. Wipe down your door and whisk up your gloss paint to remove any dust or particles.

• Paint the remaining space:

  After you've done the panels and hinged side of the door, you may use your roller to fill in the rest of the door with shine. To finish your door, you'll utilise horizontal and vertical rails. You'll use your paint brushes to blend the gloss around the door's edges.

• Let dry; lightly sand the first coat of gloss:

  After you've applied your initial coat of gloss, take a break from your craft to allow this layer to dry. While prepping your door for the final coat of gloss, use your sandpaper to smooth out any irregularities on a dry surface.

• Apply a second coat of gloss:

  Your door will be finished with a second coat of shine. You'll apply your last coat of gloss in the same way you did in steps three and four.
