Hey buddy. My uncle recently tried to do grouting outside corners, and let me tell you, the process was quite hard to do, but totally worth it. Grouting in the middle of the space was a super easy task for him but when it came to corners, especially outside corners, he faced too much difficulty. Let me share the detailed process on how to grout outside corners he followed.
Steps to Grout Outside Corners
I mentioned all the steps of what my uncle did to grout outside corners of my kitchen:
He started by loading up a good amount of grout onto my grout float. Holding the float at a 45-degree angle, he pressed it into the corner, making sure it filled all the gaps.
After that, he used the edge of the float to smooth out the grout along the corner. A sweeping motion worked best to keep everything even with the tile surface.
Once he had the grout in place, he grabbed a damp sponge to clean up the excess while making sure the corners looked clean without removing too much grout.
He repeated this process for each corner, working section by section. He had enough patience to take it slow to ensure a clean, polished finish.
I would suggest you better hire a professional as following the above steps to your own will take more time and effort. I hope you found this answer helpful.
