Cultivating a Rudraksha tree at home is a rewarding endeavor that brings a touch of nature's divinity into your living space. And guess who taught me this life lesson? Yes, you guessed it right, it was NoBroker. It was when I getting my ancestral home renovated as per Vastu principles through NoBroker. They made sure that they renovated every corner of my house as per Vastu. On one of the days, they told me about

Rudraksha tree thrives while harmonizing with my home's energy flow.

I will tell you how I planted a Rudraksha tree at my home:

  1. Procure high-quality Rudraksha seeds from a reputable source to ensure the best chance of germination.

  2. Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours to soften the outer shell and encourage sprouting.

  3. Fill a pot with a well-draining potting mix that is rich in organic matter.

  4. Sow the seeds about an inch deep into the potting mix, maintaining a distance of 2-3 inches between each seed.

  5. Water the pot regularly, ensuring the soil remains moist but not soggy. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot.

  6. Place the pot in a location that receives ample sunlight, preferably a south-facing window.

  7. Observe the seeds closely, and once they germinate, provide support to the growing seedlings.

  8. As the tree grows, repot it into a larger container to accommodate its expanding root system. Continue to provide regular watering, sunlight, and occasional fertilization.

Rudraksha for Vastu Dosh

The NoBroker Vastu experts told me that how Rudraksha beads can help balance Vastu doshas:

  1. Rudraksha beads are said to absorb and neutralize negative energies, creating a more harmonious and peaceful atmosphere within a home.

  2. Rudraksha beads are believed to promote the flow of positive energy throughout a house, improving the overall well-being of its occupants.

  3. Different types of Rudraksha beads are associated with specific Vastu doshas. For instance, a 5 Mukhi Rudraksha is believed to address doshas related to wealth and prosperity, while an 11 Mukhi Rudraksha is said to mitigate doshas affecting health and relationships.

  4. Rudraksha beads can be placed in strategic locations within a house to harmonize its energy, such as the northeast corner for spiritual growth or the southwest corner for stability and peace..

My grandmother used to tell me that Rudraksha is a well-known sacred seed that helps to nourish the body constitutions. It strengthens our intestines so much that they can fight with any disease. But, are you aware of where these seeds come from? These beads must be obtained from Rudraksha Tree. Now, the major question is how to grow Rudraksha Tree at home. I can assist you with this as I already grew Rudraksha Tree at my home. You just need to go through the 7 basic steps.

How to Grow Rudraksha Plant at Home?

  1. Using a sharp knife, peel the skin off a 2-inch section of bark by cutting below the nodal region and making 2 round cuts to facilitate the process.

  2. To encourage plant generation and accelerate growth, scratch the bark two or three times.

  3. Now, you have to follow the air layering process. For that, you need to use moss balls. These balls must have been soaked in water for at least 24 hours after being marinated in cinnamon or honey. Now, every ball will start creating a single air layering. This process will keep plants away from getting dried.

  4. Wrap up the skinned bark using moss ball. Then, fold the ball with a square plastic sheet. Now, use the jute or plastic string to cover the ball in a round manner and reinforce it. Let the plastic cover as it is for three to seven weeks.

  5. Do the unwrapping and plant the saplings in the medium size pot.

  6. Pour the cold water into the pot.

  7. The Rudraksha Tree will start growing after 1 or 2 months.
