However, my landlord told me to make sure I don’t make huge dents while hanging a canvas board on the wall. That’s when my father told me how to hang canvas on wall without nails:

• Remove any protruding hardware that is attached to the canvas’ back. This includes any hanging fasteners, nails, screws, or wires as well as any frame stands.

• Clean the wall area and frame using isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth. Let the surfaces dry.

• Press the 2 sides together for all sets of strips.

• Attach the adhesive side to the canvas’ back after removing the paper liner. Press for half an hour. Heavy canvas will need 4 sets placed at the top corners and on each side, Medium-weight pictures will need 2 sets at each top corner and light canvas will only need a single set of strips placed at the top center. This is an important tip on how to stick canvas board on wall.

• Repeat the process until all strips are attached.

• Remove the liners & press the canvas against the wall.

• Gently pull on the canvas’ bottom corners and lift to separate the wall strips. Hold the wall strips using your fingers for one minute.

• Wait for 60 minutes before you replace the artwork to ensure the strips have had enough time to properly attach to the wall.

• You can use adhesive hooks if the frame has a hanger on the back and press-in hooks for heavy art.
