How to hang string lights on wooden fence?
  • You will need to get simple tools like wood stakes, screws, hooks, pencils, tape measure, saw drill or screwdriver, twist or plastic ties, and a hammer.

  • Then, you will need to mark where you want to hang the light on your fence.

  • Make sure the wooden stakes are of the same height.

  • If they are not, you can use a power or hand saw to make them uniform.

  • Add hooks on the wooden stakes with screws.

  • All the hooks should face up.

  • At every mark, you will need to insert the wooden stakes into the soil.

  • You can use a hammer to hammer them down. You can screw the stakes to the vinyl fence directly.

  • Securely, string the light in a 'U' design on each wooden stake.

Many people like hanging string lights on fence. You can even hang small plants on your fence. You will need heavy-duty wire or a thick gauge metal wire for it. This is all from my end on how to hang string lights on vinyl fence.
