How to Install a Skylight on a Flat Roof?

• Installing insulation and flashing 

Over a water and ice barrier, install sheet metal flashing around the skylight's perimeter. Use a single flashing piece in the front and step flashing up the curb's sides. To stop condensation and heat loss, install stiff insulation inside the light tunnel.
