Hey. I was teaching my daughter to replace and install new light bulbs the other day. I saw your question and would be able to share how to install CFL light bulbs. It is pretty easy and similar to installing an incandescent light bulb. But, there are some things which you must do before purchasing and installing the bulbs. I will share the process below.
Method to Install CFL Bulbs
Here is the procedure:
Before purchasing bulbs, take a house tour and count the light sockets. You can buy CFLs for each light socket or replace the most commonly used standard light bulbs.
At the hardware, you’ll find several CFLs in the range of 2700K, which is warm, 3500 to 4100K, which is cool and 5000K, which is bright. So, choose accordingly.
If your house has a dimmable switch and is replacing the corresponding light bulb, buy a dimmable CFL for that light socket.
To install a CFL bulb, unscrew the incandescent bulb anticlockwise and keep it aside. Take out the CFL from its package and screw it into the light socket in a clockwise direction.
