Recently, I moved to a new house, and I noticed that there was no exhaust fan in the kitchen. I called the owner and informed the landlord of the same and he suggested I get it done and he would compensate me for the same. I took the measurements of the location and bought a new exhaust fan and installed it. To know about the steps of how to install exhaust fan for kitchen read along.
How to Fit Exhaust Fan in Kitchen?
Before installing the exhaust fan, I took the mounting bracket and marked the area where I need to drill the screws with a pencil. Here is what I did after that.
I started the process by mounting the bracket on the wall and securing it with screws tightly.
After that, place the exhaust fan on the mounting bracket and secure it with screws properly.
Next, I connected the wiring to the exhaust fan
.I would suggest you hire an electrician for this part. If done incorrectly, it could be life-threatening.
After it is placed, secure the fan in its place using screws.
Before completing the process, double-check that everything is in its place and all connections are stable. And that’s it.

Hello Shiva, I can help you by sharing the process of installing exhaust fan in kitchen. I did so with the help of an electrician as this is a technical process. I’ll share all the steps I saw.
How to Install Exhaust Fan in Kitchen Window?
Before you begin, make sure that there are no sort of obstructions within 3m opposite to the air outlet.
Cut a hole according to the size of your exhaust fan. Insert roof nails into the drywall and outline the nail’s position using a pencil. Use a drilling hole and a saw to cut it out.
Screw the fan with the joist. Here, you need to join a 4-inch 90 degrees duct elbow to the side outlet port.
Use foil duct tape in order to fix the fan to the port. Use a cable connector on the fan’s housing side. Into the vent fan’s side tabs, you’ll have to install the four metal brackets.
Then, you must place the fan between the joists. You need to make the brackets come in contact with the joists by extending them. Fix them using drywall screws.
It is time to join the connector with electrical cables and tighten them with a connector screw.
Attach the dan with the flexible ducting and the vent. Check that the fan blades run smoothly and that there is no noise when the fan runs.
Check that the fan blades are tight after you have installed the fan.
So, this is how to set exhaust fan in kitchen. I hope you find this helpful.
