• Cut a hole in your countertop to fit the hob (if necessary). Make precise measurements and use a jigsaw or appropriate tools for the material (e.g., granite, laminate).

• For gas hobs, consult a licenced gas fitter to connect the gas supply. For electric hobs, connect the wires to the designated terminals following the manufacturer's instructions.

• Place the hob into the cutout and secure it to the countertop using clamps or screws provided by the manufacturer. Ensure it is level.

• If it's a gas hob, perform a leak test to ensure there are no gas leaks. Use a gas leak detection solution or consult a professional.

1. First, you need to think about the dimension of the gas hob. You will need a bigger countertop for more capaciousness.

2. You also need to decide where the gas cylinder will go and how you will be able to install the pipeline. Check out the place where you will be comfortable cooking and position everything accordingly. You need to keep these things in mind before installing the gas hob. If required you can remove the cabinets.

3. Now that you have selected your place to install the gas hob, you can start cutting the countertop. You should leave 60mm space from the rear wall and 160 mm space from the edges of the gas hob.

4. Seal the space between the gas hob and countertops. In case you spill anything it will give you a hard time cleaning if the spaces are not sealed properly. If you are thinking of installing an over or drawer then you should install a separation board between the two.

5. While installing the gas hob you should be precautious and follow the guidelines properly. 

6. Place the gas from the top and connect it with the gas pipe.
