The popularity of LED lighting is increasing rapidly. I came to know about them while looking at some online videos and thus decided to do it for my TV as well. Next, I searched for how to install LED behind TV.

How To Install Led Light Strips Behind TV?

Before the installation process, you need to decide on the type of LED light that you want. There are two types of LED lights: Strips and Bars. 

The strips are pretty easy to install and can be trimmed and attached to the back of the TV. The other one is LED bars, though they provide you with more control but they are a bit unpopular compared to the LED strips. So, I decided to go with the strips, and this is how I installed them. 

• I started by cleaning the back of the TV unit. 

• After that, I used a white maker to mark the way following which, I will add the strips. 

• Following this, I used a 3M double-sided tape to stick the LED strip lights on the marked path. 

• Now, I connected the strips through connector cables.

• After all that, I connected the strips to the TV using a USB.

How to install LED strip behind TV?

Installing LED strip lights behind your TV can enhance the viewing experience. Here are the steps you need to follow for the installation:

Collect LED strip lights, power adapter, remote control (if applicable), double-sided adhesive tape, cleaning materials, and scissors.

Turn off and unplug the TV. Clean the TV's back surface.

Measure the TV's perimeter, then cut the LED strip to fit.

Remove the adhesive backing and attach the strip along the TV's back edge, ensuring it's straight.

Plug the LED strip into the power adapter, then plug the adapter into an outlet.

Turn on the TV and test the lights. Adjust colours and brightness using the remote control.

Use cable clips or organizers to tidy up any excess wires.

Hide excess wire behind furniture or use cable management solutions.
