It did take some effort and time, but I am well-versed with how to install LED lights in display cabinet. So, I will share the complete steps you can perform to add lights to your cabinet with ease.

Process to Install LED Lights in a Display Cabinet

Here is the method you can follow:

1. Begin by purchasing LED lights. You will find them in different lengths and some can be joined to make longer lengths. 

2. Next, measure the length and depth of your cabinet and create a U-shaped frame to these measurements. I used 18mm square stock, but you can also use something decorative such as moulding. 

3. Cut the corners at an angle of 45 degrees on the mitre saw and join them using steel corner brackets.

4. Now you must drill some counter sunk holes into the made frame and screw it into the underside of your cabinets. 

5. Once the frame is attached, sand everything down and fix any issues with the mitres.

6. You need to clean the underside of the cabinets and then stick the lights to the underside.

7. Once you are done with this, hide the cable to the best of your ability. I had cut the cable and ran it through the inside of my cabinets, then out again in the plug.

And voila, your cabinet has LED lights now. I hope this helps.
