First, you have to decide how many edges of the mirror you want to use. I suggest you use all four edges for the best lighting, although left and right sides, top and bottom, or top only work too.
Next, you will have to decide whether to attach to the mirror frame or directly to the glass, and how far in from the edge.
You will have to use a measuring tape carefully to work out the dimensions.
Pick and order the LED strip in the right length.
Plug in and test the lights before you fix them.
Use a microfibre cloth and rubbing alcohol to clean the mirror. Make sure the surface is free from grease.
Decide the power cord’s location.
Peel off the backing tape and press the strip into place. You can even use a straight edge like a timber batten or ruler to make sure your lights are parallel with the mirror edge.
