It was only last month we installed multiple pendant lights with the help of an electrician. Though I am no expert and I’d recommend you getting a qualified professional for the job, I observed a few things during the installation, so sharing a brief process of how to install multiple pendant lights. If you want to wire the lights from one fixture, then wire connectors is the best way to go about.

How to Wire Multiple Pendant Lights from One Fixture?

I learned that to wire multiple lights, you must preferably use wire connectors. Here are some steps I’ve seen the electrician take while installing the lights.

  1. He started by opening the wire connectors and disconnecting the blue and brown cables.

  2. Since we fixed two lamps in one fixture, there were two wire connectors. And, he put all the brown and blue wires separately in both the connectors.

  3. I remember the electrician measuring the diameter of the lamps. He mentioned it’s important to maintain the same distance between each lamp, so it doesn’t look unorganised and tacky.

  4. Then, he closed the orange flaps on the wire terminals.

  5. We wanted to hide the visible cables, so he used a ceiling cap to make sure the cables were not visible. You can also mount the lamps on a rail.

So, this is how you can do it. However, I feel it’s always a better idea to get such things done by a professional. Nonetheless, I am hoping these steps will help you get a brief idea on how to wire multiple pendant lights together. You can also go through the previous answers for better clarity.
