After shifting into my new rented home, I had a RO water purifier installed. For that, I hired a professional. He gave me some basic instructions when I asked him how to install RO water purifier at home. According to him, installing it involves selecting a spot close to a supply source, connecting the purifier to the water supply, and turning on the electricity. I have shared the detailed instructions below for your reference.

How to Fit RO Water Purifier?

Getting all the tools and supplies needed is crucial before beginning the installation process. Typically, these consist of a screwdriver, waterproof tape, drilling machine, etc.

The professional informed me to follow the below process for fitting RO water purifier easily at home:

  • Choose an appropriate spot for the installation that is close to the electrical outlet and the water supply source. The location you select should have enough room to hold the purifier and its storage tank.

  • Now, make the needed holes in the wall to fit the tubing and purifier using a drilling machine.

  • In the COLD WATER connection, install the feed water valve.

  • Put the pre-filter candle that comes with it after opening the pre-filter cap.

  • Secure the filter cap firmly with waterproof tape.

  •  Now fasten the elbow connectors to the pre-filter's two sides.

  • Unlock the RO cabinet that houses the remaining filters.

  • Take out the pipes that are attached to the filter's cap.

  • After unscrewing the cap, place the membrane inside the filter case.

  • After that, screw the cap back on tightly.

  • From behind the tap, take out the washer and nut.

  • Place the washer from inside the water tank onto the tap's rear end.

  • To secure the tap in place, replace the nut you just took out.

  • Loosen the floating mechanism, then the cylinder nut.

  • Connect the filter to the membrane compartment and rejoin the power line to the cut-off system.

  • Assemble and mount the filter and water tank. To stop leaks, make sure all connections are secure and safeguarded.

  • Connect the other tubes and the water line.

  • There will be a drain tee given to you. It needs to be attached to the drain pipe.

  • In the end, switch on the power and let the RO water purifier refill the storage tank.

The expert told me that to get rid of any debris or contaminants that could have been collected during installation, it is advised to drain the system for a few minutes ahead of using the purified water. You can also hire experts at low cost by clicking on the below link:
