Hey Shivangi, I saw you asking how to keep your office clean and I can help. I have a small office and follow a routine to keep the space tidy. I use a multipurpose cleaner for the desks, a microfibre cloth for the electronics and limit food consumption to the breakout area as some of the measures.

How to Keep Your Office Clean?

Here is a short method you can follow:

  1. Use a multi-purpose cleaner to clean and tidy up your desk daily. Office tables and desks have a lot of dust and focusing on them daily is needed.

  2. Next comes electronics. Your systems and other machines need daily wiping. Use an antibacterial screen cleaning wipe or a microfiber cloth along with a disinfectant wipe spray.

  3. Store cleaning wipes at each desk so the staff can keep their places clean and use them during urgent needs. Keep the wipes in other high-traffic areas like the cafeteria.

  4. You should also have restrictions on eating and drinking in particular areas. Have the staff maintain this by keeping consumables restricted to the breakout area.

  5. Keep trash cans near each workstation to ensure litter doesn’t take place. It will help in keeping the space neat.

  6. The office meeting rooms are another space where extra care is needed. Keep sanitisers, and wipes and follow a daily dusting routine for the chairs and tables. You can weekly clean the glasses, and wipe the flooring and other areas.

This is how to keep the office clean. I hope it helps.

Hello,

I was having a hard time managing my time and productivity. A friend of mine visited my office and found that it was a mess. So, he suggested me to keep work area clean. As I wasn’t having time, so , I availed NoBroker cleaning services. Here is what I learned after the person started cleaning my office space.

How to Keep the Office Clean?

The best way to clean your office is to declutter it. Here is how you can do that.

  • First, clean the area by taking out all the items from the shelves and cabinets and putting them somewhere else. Now, you can wipe all of them to get rid of the dust and grime.

  • Now, start sorting all the stuff that you have taken out. Keep the things that you need in one area and discard the rest of the useless stuff.

  • Following this, designate a certain area for each item and put them in their respective place.

  • Dust the office area. Start by dusting the high surfaces and then work your way down. If there are any stains, clean them with the help of a detergent solution and a fresh cloth.

  • Whatever dust settles down on the furniture and carpet, clean it with a vacuum cleaner. This will ensure that the dust you just cleaned won't start spreading around again.

I hope that the answers provided here about the process to keep work area clean have been of help to you.

If you manage an office, you should keep it as tidy, clean, and organised as possible to maximise efficiency. To maintain a positive work atmosphere and inspire employees, you should also make sure that the office space is healthy for them. To achieve this, make sure you schedule frequent office cleanings. You and your staff can take care of office cleaning on your own, or you can hire experts to perform maintenance chores. Try using an office cleaning checklist if you're organising a cleaning schedule.
