I have vacuumed the cornstarch and the dead ants immediately after sprinkling them. You can also apply water and cornstarch though I don't think it is a good option as your floor can get sticky and slippery.
Pepper
If you are wondering how to kill red ants naturally I will suggest you to try pepper at least once. Ants get irritated by the smell of black pepper. I have applied the pepper powder behind the baseboard of appliances and I got amazing results. Ants were gone with this safe and natural ingredient.
White Vinegar
White Vinegar is known for its antibacterial properties. But did you know it can also kill red ants immediately? Well, yes white vinegar is a strong natural home ingredient you can use to prevent your home from ant infestation.
