Hey pal,

The floor of our house gives our space personality. It adds an oomph factor to the decor. As an interior decorator enthusiast, I try to be aware of all the new trends. When it comes to flooring, chevron wood floors are turning out to be a popular choice amongst homeowners. If you want to know more about it, read the paragraphs below.

It is the perfect choice if you want to add drama to any room. Most furniture, carpet, and architectural elements go well with the floor type.

Chevron engineered wood flooring is a space enhancer. It will make your house look bigger than it is. For the installation process, you will need a border flooring strip, rubber mallet, wood glue, tape measure, screws, etc.

  • Plan where each plank of chevron wood will be placed on the floor.

  • Put down one piece at a 45-degree angle.

  • Put another piece adjacent to it at the same angle. It should resemble an arrow.

  • Glue down each plant, point to point.

  • This will give your floor a seamless zigzag design.

The Chevron floor pattern is distinct from other types. Don't confuse it to be the same as a herringbone floor pattern.

The floorboard is manufactured and cut at an angular 45-degree angle. They are then joined to make an 'arrow' or 'point shape. The V-shaped pattern makes the floor give the illusion of a line of straight arrows.

This is all from my end on the Chevron wood floor.
