How to Load Truck for Moving?
You have your items packed, so the ideal thing to do is keep them in one place near the truck, so you don’t have to make trips again and again.
Divide the truck space into sections. Keep the back area near the driver’s seat for the heaviest items. The middle section is for items which are medium-sized and the section near the door is for the lightest items, small in size.
Start by loading the heaviest items first. So, furniture should go first here unless you have larger, heavier items. Place all the heavy items standing in an upright position against the wall.
Then move on to placing the boxes into the truck. Keep the lighter boxes on top of the heavier items. This will help you save space. You can keep rolled rugs upright and vertical in the space between the furniture and boxes.
You then have to tie down the furniture. Use rope or moving straps for this purpose. After this, the last section of the truck is for the lightest items.
Keep the boxes and suitcases in the truck at last, which have the items you would need the first night at your new place.
