Hi! I have been using the services of the Airtel Broadband for a long time now. I recently came across a problem with my broadband. Hence, I thought of raising an Airtel broadband complaint. I did so with the help of the Airtel Thanks app. Here is the complete process.

How to register Airtel wifi complaint

  1. Download the Airtel Thanks App from the Apple Store or the Google Play Store.

  2. Next, open the app and log in to your account with the help of your registered mobile number.

  3. Now, you’ll find the Help section on the extreme bottom right corner of your screen. Click on it.

  4. On the screen, you will find the Chat Now option to contact Airtel’s chatbot. Select it.

  5. First, select the network-related issue option.

  6. Then, click on the internet issue option.

  7. Click on Broadband as the next choice.

  8. The bot will ask you to check the connectivity of your modem. Click on the checked option.

  9. Now, it will ask you to check if the LED on the modem is red. 

  • Click on yes if that is the case. It will ask you to remove bends in the wire and reconnect. Try that first. If it doesn’t work, click on the no, still not resolved option.

  • On the other hand, if your answer is no, it will ask you to switch off and then switch off the modem. If your issue still persists, click the still not resolved option.

  1. It will ask whether you would like to raise a complaint. Click on the yes option.

Your Airtel broadband complaint will be registered. You will receive the information regarding the visiting engineer and the time during which they will contact you. Your issue will be resolved within 1-2 days.

Through Appellate Authority: You can opt to initiate an appeal with the 

Appellate Authority 

directly by email, facsimile, mail, in person, or by calling the complaint centre's Consumer Care Number if the response offered for the complaint is unsatisfactory.

Points to remember about how to lodge complaint for Airtel broadband

  1. a) The Appellate Authority is open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

  2. b) The complaint information (Service Request No.) provided by the complaint centre shall be accessible for making an appeal to the Appellate Authority.

  3. c) The appeal must be submitted 90 days after the grievance or request resolution deadline set by the complaint centre has passed.

  4. d) Within three days of receiving a report of the problem, the Appellate Authority will offer a Unique Reference number.

After receiving an appeal, the Appellate Authority will respond with a decision in 39 days.
