I have a cute pug in my house. And I wanted to make a dog house for him for a while now. So, instead of going to the store and buying a ready-made one, I thought of making a dog house with cardboard. During the weekend, my kids and I planned this fun activity. So let me tell you how I made DIY dog house with my children.

For build it yourself dog house, you will need supplies such as:
Cardboard Box
Box Cutter and/or Xacto Knife
Packing Tape or Duct Tape
Pencil
Ruler
Cutting Mat or Cutting Board
Paint (optional)
Hot Glue and Hot Glue Gun
I will share with you a brief step-by-step guide on how to build a dog house for 2 dogs. I am sure you will love the end results after following the guide.
First, make a sketch of the house. Measure the size and note down the features you want to have. You can add doors, windows and mailboxes.
Take a large wardrobe box.
You take one side of the box and lay it flat on the surface.
Take a pencil, and a ruler and draw your windows and door.
Cut the areas of the cardboard you intend to. Be steady while cutting the areas for doors and windows.
Use hot glue or duct tape to attach the cut edge of the cardboard.
Create the roof peaks by making a flap with two cardboard.
Attach the roof to the dog house by adding glue to it.
Now attach the doors after taking proper measurements.
Join the doors by folding cardboards and adding glue by creating hinges for the door.
Paint the dog house with polka dots or whichever shape you want.
And your dream dog house is ready!
