I am glad to have met someone with a thorough understanding of colour theory. I wanted to paint the wall in my dining room a peacock green colour, but I didn't know how to get peacock green colour. So, I reached out regarding the same to my friend, who is a painter. He told me that mixing two basic colours i.e. Blue and Green will make it simple to create this shade. I have shared the steps he mentioned to me to achieve peacock green. 

How to make peacock blue colour by mixing two colours?

Anandi has already given instructions on how to mix two hues to achieve the peacock blue hue. However, you can also try the below procedure to get the desired colour easily:

• The base for your peacock blue paint can be made by combining phthalo blue (Hex code - #040967) and ultramarine blue (Hex code - #133e91) in equal proportions. The peacock blue will become deeper and darker as you add more blue.

• Gently stir the mixture thoroughly after adding a little amount of green colour of hex code #00ff00. 

• If you find a result good then leave it. Moreover, if you would like to make it a little bit lighter, feel free to add a tiny bit of titanium white (Hex code - #f3f4f7) and stir well.

By following the above process, you will get the peacock green colour within a few minutes. I hope the above tips helps you to get an idea of how to mix peacock blue.

Add little green:

The shade of peacock blue you obtain depends on how much green you apply. Add a tiny bit of green for a paler shade of peacock blue. Peacock color mixing can be done by adding extra green for a richer peacock blue.

Mix thoroughly:

Once the green has been added, thoroughly blend the colours to achieve the desired peacock blue hue.

To change the colour, add some white or black:

A tiny bit of white can be added for a paler peacock blue. Add a little bit of black for a deeper peacock blue.

• Make use of good paint. 

• Apply a light hand. 

• Play around with various hues.
