How to make stencil for wall painting at home?
The first step is choosing a stencil design you like. You can go for a flower pattern, hearts, stars etc
Draw the pattern with a fine tip marker on cardboard
With a precision knife or X-Acto knife trace the stencil pattern
Your stencil is ready.
Just repeat the process for different designs.
This was how to make stencil for painting wall.
Later on, use any good quality acrylic or latex paint to paint the stencil on the wall. Use sticky tape to adhere the stencil to the wall while painting. I would recommend using a stencil brush and sponge throughout the process.
You can use paper to make butterfly wall stencils for painting. Though, the paper stencil will get ruined after a few uses.
Ideally, you should buy a mylar sheet and cut your stencil from it.
You can even download ready-made stencils from the internet. Just print the stencil on transparencies of your choice.
