How Do You Measure the Height of a Building?
For this method, you’d need a pencil, and another person along with yourself.
Hold a pencil vertically and walk away from the building. Do so till the time the pencil appears as the same size as the building. During this, the pencil should be at your arm’s length and you should be looking through one eye.
Then, level the base of your pencil with the feet of the other person, who should be standing right next to the building.
Rotate the pencil 90 degrees so that the pencil is now horizontal. Ask the other person to turn and walk along the pencil to the end.
Measure the distance that the person has travelled. This distance will be the building’s height.
