How to Merge 2 PF Accounts in One UAN?
If you have one UAN, you can follow the below steps on how to merge two PF accounts online.
Visit the official online portal of
EPFOand login with your credentials, such as UAN and password.
Under the ‘online services’ section, click on ‘One UAN, One EPF Account’.
Then, you’ll see a tab with your present employment details. Confirm the details and your personal information.
Click on the ‘Get Details’ to view your PF account details of previous employment.
Then, enter your Universal Account Number (UAN)
Click on the ‘Get OTP’ option and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
This is one of the convenient ways to transfer or merge your PF accounts. In case you have two UAN numbers, you can send an email to
uanepf@epfindia.gov.in
with your previous UAN and current UAN number and request for the transfer. After verification, your previous UAN will be blocked and your current will get activated.

To merge the PF (Provident Fund) Account or EPF(Employees’ Provident Fund) Account you will need to have the Universal Account number (UAN). Then just visit:

Select One Employee - One EPF Account option under the Services Tab
You will be provided with a form
Provide the mobile number registered with the UAN Portal
Enter you current member ID
Submit all the details
You will receive an OTP
After entering the OTP, you will have to provide old PF account details
After submitting the details, your request to merge the PF accounts will be sent to the EPFO
You can also ask for PF account merge and drop a mail on uanepf@epfindia.gov.in. You should mention the current as well as the former UAN and ask them to block the former and let the current be active.
