Before moving the fridge, make sure that the floor is free from dirt and debris that could cause scratches.
- Use furniture sliders:
Place mats, rugs or other floor protectors under the fridge's feet to reduce friction and make it easier to move without scratching the floor.
- Lift the fridge:
Lift the fridge slightly off the ground and carefully slide it across the floor instead of dragging it.
Protect with rugs or cardboard: Lay down rugs or cardboard paths along the path to provide a smooth surface and prevent scratches.
- Secure loose components:
Tape any loose parts, such as doors or shelves, to prevent them from swinging open during the move and causing damage.
