How to open IPPB account online ?

Account holders who don't know the meaning of IPPB and how to open IPPB account online are missing out. I opened a savings account in The India Post Payments Bank because I didn't want to visit the local post office again and again. I can now deposit money, check my balance and conduct other financial transactions online.

I will share with you how to open IPPB account online. You need to have your PAN card number and Aadhaar card number for the process. Being an Indian citizen above 18 years of age is the biggest eligibility criterion for the service.

• Download the IPPB mobile application from the app store 

• Click on the ‘Open Account; button 

• Enter your personal details like Aadhar number

• You will get an OPT on your linked mobile number

• Enter the OTP 

• Mention details of your background like your mother’s name, educational qualifications, address and nomination details etc. 

• Click on submit/ 

• Viola! You now have a new savings account. You can access the account of any service on the IPPB mobile app.

You can call IPPB customer care on 155299 or send them an email at contact@IPPBonline.in to open a new account. To gain information about the services, you can visit any access point or a local post office as well.
