I wanted to change the front door colour of my house as I felt that it was not going with the colour of the outer door. I wanted to paint the door on my own, but I didn’t know about the steps that need to be followed. • I used a moist towel to wipe away any dust after sanding the door.

• To guarantee consistent coverage and improved paint adhesion, I started with a primer.

• I started painting with premium enamel paint after the primer had dried.

• I applied the first coat, being sure to use a brush for the edges and panels and a small roller for flat surfaces, all while making sure the strokes and coverage were even.

• I applied a second layer after letting the first coat dry and softly sanding any rough areas.

• I took great care to remove the painter's tape when the paint had dried completely.
