Hey Sanchita, I know how to paint faux concrete wall finish as I did so on one of our house walls last week. You will need grey and white paints for this, along with chalk powder.

How to Do Faux Concrete Wall Paint?

  1. Pick a shade of grey closest to concrete grey. Purchase a basic white wall paint along with chalk powder.

  2. Paint the wall grey using arched strokes with a thick paintbrush. Work your way in sections.

  3. Before the paint dries, take a wet cloth and smoothen out the paint. Take a sponge dipped in white paint and squeeze out all the excess paint.

  4. Dab the sponge steadily across the grey paint. Cover only a few sections of the wall.

  5. Take the wet cloth once again and smoothen out the paint to blend the white and grey.

  6. If you wish to, draw vertical lines with a lighter or darker shade of grey. The vertical lines shouldn’t be straight.

  7. Add grout to your paint for texture. You can also use a piece of crushed fabric for texture. Roll it across the wet paint.

  8. Do all of this when the wall is still wet. You will have to show patience till one section dries completely.

So, this is how to paint a faux concrete wall finish. I hope you find this useful.
