Sand the walls for an even surface. Apply painter’s tape around the borders and other areas you don’t wish to paint.
Use your primer now. If you’re shifting from a lighter to a darker colour, pick a grey primer like I did. For the vice versa, choose a white primer. Apply 2-3 coats and give apt drying time for each coat before applying the next coat.
At last, you can paint the walls with your chosen paint. For this, apply 2-3 coats for the best look and coverage.
