There is always the easy hack of using transfer paper. You can stick painting letters on wood if you use frisket paper with an adhesive back. This is easy and mess-free if you don’t have time. In my opinion, the finishing does not come perfect.

How to paint quotes on wood?

- Once you have selected the piece of wood, you need to prep for the paint. 

- Clea the piece of wood with warm water and a small amount of soap

- To get rid of splinters just sand it for a smooth surface. 

- For the paint to last a long time, apply a coat of primer. 

- You will then have to stencil your design 

- I would recommend being extra creative with the quote or lyric.

- Paint the letters of the quote with acrylic paint 

- You can even use a glitter topcoat for glamour. 

- Once the paint is dried, use a coat of acrylic polyurethane finish topcoat.
