A year ago, I received an ICICI Bank credit card. Right up till last month, I paid my credit card bill with a cheque because I didn't have an ICICI debit card. However, I was informed by a friend of mine who works in ICICI Bank that I could
use the "Click to Pay" option to make an ICICI credit card bill payment using debit card.
He further told me that you just need to choose your bank, input your credit card details, and complete the payment. I have mentioned the thorough procedure that my friend shared with me.
Steps for ICICI Credit Card Bill Payment using Other Bank Debit Card
I always believe that ICICI Bank declined debit card payments from other banks. But, my friend informed me to follow the below process:
He asked me to start by clicking this
ICICI Credit Card Bill Paymentlink.
Scroll the display till the end.
Now, click the drop-down arrow available under “Select your bank” option. Select the bank that you wish to pay off the credit card balance.
Press the Proceed button.
After that, press the "I Agree" button.
Select the type of card you currently possess.
Enter your mobile number, email address, and 16-digit ICICI Bank credit card number.
Provide the amount you want to be paid.
Click the "Pay Now" button.
Enter the password and user ID that you used to log in.
Mention your debit card details as asked.
Finally, confirm the total amount that needs to be paid. The amount will be deducted from your account immediately.
I followed the above process this month to pay my credit card bill, and it was very simple. I hope you got an idea of how to pay credit card bill via debit card.
