Hi buddy. I am currently residing in a 2 BHK rented flat in Bangalore. I typically use the NoBroker rent payment service to pay my rent using a debit card due to a few reasons. The first thing is that they charge a nominal processing charge. Apart from this, due to its 24/7 payment option, the rent is promptly transferred to the landlord's bank account. Let me share the detailed steps on how to pay rent with a debit card I follow to pay my rent using the NoBroker app.
How to Pay Rent with Debit Card?
Even though it is the most common method, paying rent by bank transfer usually takes longer than anticipated due to server issues and other considerations. My father used to go to the bank to pay our rent, but after a few years, I used Paytm. However, due to lots of technical problems, I had to switch to the NoBroker app, which my friends suggested.
Here is the process I followed to pay the house rent:
I first opened the NoBroker app on my mobile and signed in with my mobile number.
After that, I opened this NoBroker House Rent Payment link.
I chose the property type as House Rent, mentioning my name, email id and mobile number.
Then, I clicked on “Get Started.”
Following that, I filled in my landlord's details including his name, number, bank account details, BHK type, rent amount and so on.
If you want to directly make the payment to your owner’s UPI ID, then choose that and mention his UPI ID, your property address, PAN number, rent amount and so on.
After filling all the required details, I completed my rent payment.
The best part about paying with a debit card through the NoBroker app is that I always get some cash back and my rental slip was generated immediately. Once, I also received Rs 100 cashback. I hope you understand how to pay rent with a debit card.
