  • Visit the official website of Maharashtra property registration

    https://gras.mahakosh.gov.in/igr/

  • The applicant needs to register first to use this website further.

  • Once you register yourself on the website. Now you need to login to your registered account 

  • Once you reach the home  page click on the make new payment option.

  • Once you click the make new payment option then you will see 4 options: Citizen, pay stamp duty only , pay registration fee only, make payment for penalties and other payment.

  • Click on the citizens and then  tap to pay stamp duty and registration fee together.

  • Then you will be required to fill a form. You need to provide the basic details of your property .

  • Select district, category (rural/urban) area of property.

  • Now you select in which office you want to register your document.

  • Article code (Select the purpose of registration sale deed registration/ rental agreement/ mutation) 

  • Now you need to fill the calculated amount of stamp duty.

  • Fill the first party details( name of payer, pan number and mobile number)

  • Fill the second party details (name of the buyer & incase of rent agreement name of the tenant also add pan number, mobile number of the second party)

  • Mention the amount agreed decided between both the parties to finalize the deal

  • Now the last step is the payment option you can pay via net banking or debit card. 

  • Select a listed bank.

  • Enter captcha  code 

  • Revise the details once before tapping to the proceed option.

  • Once every detail is appropriate click on to the proceed option.

  • Now take a look at the draft challan or the details you have provided.

  • Once you are confident that all the details are correct tap the agree button

  • Then immediately tap to the notification ok for the final confirmation.

  • Then you will be redirected to the payment window where you make the payment.

  • Take a screenshot of your stamp duty payment .

The Registration and Stamps department has authorised a few Indian banks that can collect stamp duty via internet banking: Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, I. D. B. I. Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of India, State Bank of Patiala, Union Bank and Vijaya Bank.

 

You can pay your stamp duty charges via debit card, ESBTR and simple receipts as well. Certain banks are authorised to collect stamp duty fees through E-SBTR. The banks are the Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, I. D. B. I. Bank and Punjab National Bank.
