Using a Bowl of Baking Soda

To avoid a mould outbreak, she advised me to put a bowl of baking soda in my closet. She suggested taking off the clothing and letting the baking soda sit for three to four hours for the best effects.

Use a White Vinegar Spray

According to my mother, mould that has already grown can be removed with a solution of white vinegar and distilled white water. 

To get the best outcome, she instructed me to take every item out of the closet, dip some of the solution into a cloth, and then gently wipe the area in a circular motion.

Using Uncooked Rice

She also mentioned that a bag of rice might minimise humidity in closets with high moisture levels in the air.

4. No Plastic: To avoid mould, you must look for other storage options instead of plastic bags. Plastic tends to trap humidity around your clothes, leading to mould growth.

5. Keep Clean and Dry Things: Dirt is the friend of mould. You should act and clear out your wardrobe, only storing clean and dry items.
