You can raise a grievance on the GST Portal if you need help from the GST department for resolving an issue. Instead of dropping an email to the GST team, you can submit a grievance on the Grievance Redressal Portal to get a quick solution to your problem. Let me tell you how to raise complaint in GST portal:
How to File Grievance in GST Portal
Go to the GST Portal to lodge any complaint or find a resolution related to GST portal related issues.
Scroll down and click on the “Grievance Redressal Portal for GST” link
After that, you will be redirected to a new page where you can lodge your complaint
Click on “Report Issue” and then enter the keyword related to the complaint or issue that you are facing in the “Type of Issue or Concern”
A list of all the issues related to that keyword will appear on the page after that. Now you can select the issue from the drop-down list.
On choosing the issue, the system will show the FAQs and relevant sections of the User Manual related to that complaint or issue.
You’ll need to go through the FAQs that would solve the issues. If you are not able to find any match related to the entered keyword, then you can tap on the most relevant category & sub-category.
In case the FAQs don’t help or support resolving the issue, then you’ll need to choose the “No, I want to lodge my complaint” that will display a page to enter the details to complain. You can upload all the necessary screenshots of the issues that you are facing.
After lodging the complaint, the system will generate a ticket number (reference number) which you can use to check the complaint status in the future.
