Make sure you dry your pans or pots completely before you put them over the burner. I found that my daughter would keep the wet pan over the burner and let it dry with the help of the gas. By avoiding this, you can save a lot on your gas bills.
Another great way to save money on gas bills is to invest in a thermos flask. Instead of boiling water every time, you can keep the water in a thermos flask and use it anytime.
I also noticed that she unintentionally overcooks her meals, which is an unnecessary add-on to the monthly gas bills. So, I would advise you to be a little more careful while cooking.
If you are following all these tips and yet see an unusual hike in your gas bills, I would recommend you switch your gas provider.
