To register yourself on the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) online, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Go to the IPPB website:

    https://www.ippbonline.com/

     

  2. Click on the "Open Account" button.

  3. Select the "Digital Savings Account" option.

  4. Enter your Aadhaar number and PAN number.

  5. Click on the "Next" button.

  6. Enter your personal details, such as your name, date of birth, and address.

  7. Create a password for your IPPB account.

  8. Review your application and click on the "Submit" button.

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an OTP on your Aadhaar-registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify your application.

Your IPPB account will be created within a few minutes. You will receive an SMS notification with your IPPB customer ID and account number.

However, you will still need to visit a post office branch to complete the account opening process and receive your CIF.

Here are the ways to find your IPPB customer ID:

  • Account opening slip: Your IPPB customer ID will be printed on your account opening slip.

  • Passbook: Your IPPB customer ID will be printed on your passbook.

  • Account statement: Your IPPB customer ID will be printed on your account statement.

  • Mobile banking app: If you are registered for IPPB mobile banking, you can find your customer ID by logging into the app.

  • Post office branch: You can also visit your local post office branch and ask a customer service representative for your customer ID.
