One day, I forgot to turn off the stove while boiling milk, and it spilled everywhere. It left a big burnt mark on my glass stove top. At first, I thought cleaning burnt milk would be difficult, but I discovered that it’s very easy if you know how to remove burnt milk from glass stove top. All I needed was the paste of lemon juice and baking soda to clean it.

How to Clean Burnt Milk Off Glass Top Stove?

Here are some simple techniques I came across while cleaning the burnt milk and make my stove look like new again:

  • Baking Soda and Vinegar: This is the first technique I came across. You can sprinkle baking soda on the burnt area, then spray vinegar over it. Let it bubble for a few minutes, then wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

  • Dish Soap and Warm Water: You can soak a cloth in warm, soapy water and lay it over the burnt milk stain for 15 to 20 minutes. Scrub gently with a non-abrasive sponge.  I found that this method helps to soften the residue.

  • Lemon Juice and Baking Soda: I used this technique for cleaning my gas top stove. I mixed lemon juice and baking soda together, applied it to the burnt milk stain, and left it for 10 to 15 minutes before scrubbing with a soft cloth.

  • Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda: For stubborn stains, you can make a paste of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, apply it to the burnt area, let it sit for 15 minutes, then wipe off with a damp cloth.

  • White Toothpaste: Apply a small amount of non-gel white toothpaste to the burn mark, scrub with a soft sponge, and rinse with warm water.

By using any of these remedies, you can easily remove burnt milk from your glass stove top and restore its shine. I hope you get an idea of how to clean burnt milk on glass stove top.
