Hello, I am here to help you with how to remove ink stains from carpet. We have a big carpet in our living room. My niece was drawing with a pen in her sketchbook and accidentally spilt the ink on the carpet.

So, I used rubbing alcohol to remove the stain and it did work well for me. Let me show you the entire process.

How to Get Ink Stains Out of Carpet?

  1. First of all, ensure that the room in which the carpet is present is well ventilated. Then, wear rubber gloves.

  2. Take a paper towel and dip it in rubber alcohol. Then, place this paper towel over the ink stain present on the carpet.

  3. Take 2 more dry paper towels and place them on top of the paper towel with rubbing alcohol to apply pressure.

  4. Once the ink soaks through, replace the paper towels.

  5. You’ll have to repeat these steps till the ink stain has vanished completely.

How do I Remove Ink from Carpet?

I have another method if you want an alternative to rubbing alcohol. You can use hydrogen peroxide to remove the stain.

  1. Take a cotton ball and pour hydrogen peroxide on it.

  2. Then, dab the cotton ball over the ink stain.

  3. Repeat this process till the stain is gone.

This is how do you remove ink from carpet. I hope you’ll be able to remove ink stains from your carpet now.
