It has always been a hard task to remove any kind of stains from clothes without damaging the cloth. I remember how I ruined one of my clothes after spilling tea all over my dress and after 4 hours, it dried completely making it impossible to remove the stain. Now it was okay to have a new cloth but last week I observed that there was  lipstick stain on my newly painted wall. I could have painted it again but for such a minor area I wasn’t liking the idea of wasting money on repainting. How to remove lipstick stain from wall?

My mother asked me to 

  • Get some mild dish soap or liquid and spread it over the lipstick. 

  • It should be left like that for 10 to 15 minutes

  • Now just use a dry cloth to clean the area

This should be enough to clean the wall.

  Can toothpaste be used to clean the lipstick stain on the wall?

I was sharing how I removed the stain using dish soap to my friend and she said that she used toothpaste instead of soap and the stain got removed easily as well. She said that

  • She just applied the toothpaste on the stain

  • Rubbed it gently

  • Rinsed the part immediately and it was all clear

Lipstick stain is really annoying so try to remove it as soon as possible before it gets dried up completely.
