I remember when there was oil spillage on the paver and it caused a huge mess for us. I swear it was such a pain for us to get it cleaned. I kept wondering how to remove oil from block paving because nothing seemed to have worked; I mean the regular cleaning. So we tried contacting a few people to get their advice and followed a couple of them which worked. Let me share with you what those were.

Process to remove oil from block paving

There are a few things you will need to get rid of oil and oil stains from pavers. Here is the list:

  • Dish soap

  • Nylon bristle brush

  • Bucket of hot water

  • A mop

Here is the process on how to remove oil stains from block paving:

  • Take a couple of mugs of water and spill it on the region where there is oil spillage

  • Now apply dish soap and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes

  • Take the nylon bristle brush and start scrubbing the oil stains and oil off the paver

  • Rinse with hot water and mop it clean

  • You will have to repeat this process for at least 4-5 times to see the effective results
