As I wasn’t aware of how to remove tile scratches, I started researching possible solutions. I have shared a few solutions that I came across below.

Vinegar and Olive Oil Blend 

Mix equal parts of white vinegar and olive oil in a container. After that, dip a clean cloth into the solution and gently wipe the scratched area. Now allow the mixture to sit, and then wipe off the excess with a fresh cloth. 

Brass Polish and Car Wax

Take a clean cloth and dip it into a brash polish. Now apply the polish on the scratched area and let it dry. After that, apply a small amount of car wax to the tile surface. 

Commercial Scratch Removers

If none of the methods work, you can consider using commercial scratch removers. These products are usually liquids or creams and you can follow the manufacturer's instructions to use them.

How to Remove Deep Scratches from Tiles?

Too-tough stains can be removed, with the tile scratch remover procedure.

• To start, rub the vinegar scratch restoration solution around the metal scratches.

• Then, focus on the tips of the scratches with small, circular motions.

• Let the tile scratch remover dry on the metal scratches. After this technique, the scratches will be hardly invisible.

The tiles are not appropriate for repair if they have large chips and severe cracks. For these, a replacement is the only viable option.

If a scratch has gone through the tile's glazed, coloured surface, you'll most likely need to replace the entire tile. This is because significant scratches in the tile can quickly grow into cracks and fractures, loosening them and exposing them to chipping and breaking. 

Ceramic tile, while designed to be a long-lasting and easy-to-clean floor covering, is nonetheless susceptible to scratches.

Use decontamination powder, add a little water to dampen the scratched area of the tile surface, gently rub the damaged tile, rub it off, and wipe it with a little polish wax, and the original scratched part will magically recover.

A variety of materials can be used to buff out scratches in glass. One of the options is to use nail polish, which, while time-consuming, is one of the better scratch-removal procedures.
