Last week, there was a party at my house and to make space in the room I removed a few of the furniture on my own. In the process of doing it alone, I left quite a lot of scuff marks on the wood floors. Before moving the furniture back in, I planned to remove the marks. I started searching about how to remove scuff marks from wood floors. I learned about quite a few methods, including using a tennis ball, pencil eraser, oil and vinegar.

How to Get Scuff Marks Off Wood Floors?

The easiest way is to rub over the marks using a tennis ball. You just need to hold the ball in your hand, buff the scuffed area vigorously, and that’s it. Here are a few more methods.

Pencil Eraser

Though it might be hard to believe, you can remove scuff marks from wood floors using a pencil eraser. Take a large, white eraser and softly rub over the scuffed area with the eraser using light circular motions. That would be it.

Oil and Vinegar

Oil and vinegar, when mixed together, make a great cleaning material. Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and olive oil in a bowl. Dip a soft cloth in it and apply it to the scuffed area. Let it sit there for some time, and then wipe it to clean the area.

These are some methods following which you can remove scuff marks from wood floors. I used the Tennis ball method as that was the easiest.
