I totally understand the irritation of dealing with soap scum on shower doors and it can be such a pain. My shower doors used to get covered in that layer, and I started looking for how to remove soap scum from shower doors. I found a vinegar and dish soap solution works really well, and it doesn’t take much effort or any fancy products.
How to Clean Soap Scum off Shower Doors?
Here’s what I do to remove soap scum from glass shower doors:
I mix equal parts white vinegar and grease-fighting dish soap in a spray bottle. After every few days, I spray it generously on the shower doors.
I leave the solution to sit for about 20 to 30 minutes so it can break down the soap scum.
After that, I use a cloth or sponge to scrub the doors and it’ll be very smooth to remove at this point of time.
I rinse everything with warm water and then dry the doors completely using a microfiber towel. This step is important to prevent water spots from forming.
For tougher scum, I’ve added baking soda to the mix, which forms a paste with the vinegar and really helps with the scrubbing. I hope that you got some help from my answer
