Most of the ACs fail to work as the condenser fan motor fails to work properly. They usually do not work well as the oil or dirt gets concentrated over them. So clean the condenser fan located in the outdoor unit
In my case, this was the issue. So remove the coil guard and get access to the condenser. Wash it very carefully without causing any damage and I hope things will work out
